Oxidation Removal
Restores chalky, oxidized aluminum siding, gutters, and metal — beyond a standard wash.
If your aluminum siding, gutters, or metal fixtures look chalky, faded, and dull — and a wipe of your hand comes away with a powdery residue — that’s oxidation, not dirt. It’s the metal’s finish breaking down over years of sun and weather, and a regular house wash will not fix it. Our oxidation removal uses a specialized treatment that breaks down and lifts that chalky layer to restore the surface’s color and depth.
The honest version: how far we can take it depends on how far the oxidation has gone. Many surfaces come back beautifully; heavily oxidized or pitted aluminum may improve dramatically without looking factory-new. We always test a small section first and tell you exactly what to expect before committing to the full project.
This is a separate, specialized service from a standard house wash — reach out with a few photos for an honest assessment.

How it works

Test a section
We test a small area first to confirm how the surface responds before treating the whole project.

A specialized oxidation remover is applied to break down the chalky, dull layer.
- 3
Work & rinse
The product is worked across the surface and rinsed, lifting the oxidation.

Oxidation Removal — FAQs
What is oxidation?
On aluminum siding, gutters, and metal, oxidation is the chalky, faded, dull film that builds up over years of sun and weather. Wipe it and you'll get a chalky residue on your hand. A normal wash won't remove it — it needs a dedicated oxidation treatment.
Will my siding look brand new?
It depends on how far the oxidation has gone. Many surfaces restore beautifully; heavily oxidized or pitted aluminum may improve a great deal without looking factory-new. We test a section first and tell you honestly what to expect.
Is this the same as a house wash?
No. A soft-wash house wash removes algae, mold, and dirt. Oxidation is a different problem that needs a specialized treatment — it's a separate service.
